Things to Avoid

• "Click Here" - hyperlinks must be descriptive and clear
• Underlined spaces at the beginning and end of hyperlinks
• Funky backgrounds make text hard to read
• Information that is not useful
• Don't use existing print content without altering it for the Web
• Shorten it
• Break it into smaller chunks of relevant information
• Add hyperlinks
• American-centered content, unless that's your audience
