Open the GNOME Control Center. Expand Document Handlers.

Under Default Applications, choose the Web Browser tab:

For Select a Web Browser, choose Mozilla/Netscape 6.

Under Document Handlers, choose URL Handlers.

Default handler should be gnome-moz-remote "%s"

You should NOT have a gnome-moz-remote file in your home directory. You should have the binary in /usr/bin, however.

That's my setup. Works for me on Red Hat 8.
