Install Java for Mozilla on Windows

  1. Go to Sun & download the Java JRE from http://java.sun.com/getjava/others.html
  2. Install the JRE
  3. Find this file on your machine: NPOJI600.DLL
  4. Copy that file to your Mozilla plugins directory.
  5. You may have to restart the machine - hey, it's Windows we're talking about here.
  6. To test, go to the Debug menu in Mozilla & choose Applets. If a clock appears, you're golden. If you don't have a Debug menu, then go to http://www.stockcharts.com/support/javaSupport/javaOne.html & see if the Java applet loads there.
