Rodney Long and I, both in kindergarten, have just gotten done earnestly saying the Pledge of Allegiance and are talking about the substitute teacher:
ME: I don't know about this one.
RODNEY: Yeah, me neither. Today's gonna be rough.
ME: I'm not sure she knows what she's doing.
RODNEY: Yup. I don't think she's sure of herself.
We go off to color pictures and eat paste.
