I'm not a photographer; I'm not even an amateur photographer. I'm just a dilettante who has a lot to learn. Every once in a while I take what I consider to be a good photo (for a dilettante), and those photos I'm sharing under a Creative Commons license. Feel free to use them; just attribute them to me, and don't use them for commercial purposes without first clearing commercial use with me.

Warning! By and large, these photographs are uncompressed JPEGs. Some of these files can therefore be quite large -- nearly 500 kb in some cases -- so downloading over a dial-up connection make be slow.

Water Scenes

Most of these were taken on my travels. I love photographing things around water; there's something about the joining together of the human and the natural that really interests me.

Flowers

Everyone who takes pictures, takes pictures of flowers. I know it's common, but it's still fun nonetheless. I'm especially proud of the Flower in Portland, which was taken with an old Olympus with only 800,000 pixels.
